NiceHCK updates their NX lineup with the $200 NX8, featuring a tri-brid set-up with 1DD + 6BA +1PZT drivers.
Externally, this is probably one of the most beautiful looking IEMs I’ve ever seen with its galaxy-like purple faceplate.
Thankfully, it looks good as it sounds. It has a relatively neutral overall sound with an emphasis on the low end with a warm, full-bodied and rich tone. The highlight for me has to be the surprisingly cohesive overall sound despite being an 8-driver tribrid. I usually expect these kinds of IEMs to suffer with driver cohesion, especially in the treble region. However, it still does unfortunately have a slight metallic timbre that might bother timbre-heads. Regardless, I enjoyed how rich and well-defined it sounds and made my music listening experience better than what I thought my experience would be
