Build, Fit & Accessories:

The SOUNDPEATS H3 has an MSRP of $130 at the time of writing, there is a 10% off code located at the bottom of the page.

H3 has a decent charging case with a fairly premium look to it. Aesthetically I really enjoy the looks of the case and the build feels good as well. The shells on the H3 look great and feel really well built. I find them very comfortable for long sessions forgetting they are there at times. I did attempt sleeping with them and as a side sleeper it was a no go for me, but for general use they are fantastic.

The unboxing experience is nice and the inclusions are good. There are 5 Ear Tips included XS/S/M/L/XL, this is great as almost everyone will get the right fit for these. These tips are good enough that I don’t see many people rushing out to replace them, they are of good quality and do a great job in my opinion. There is no charger included but there is a USB C charging cable. Outside of that you get a manual and a SOUNDPEATS sticker book.

Equipment Used:

  • Poco F5 For general use and Tidal for music
  • Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with Tidal
  • Windows 11 Laptop for general use and some light gaming

Test Tracks used:

  • Test Tracks (Work in Progress)

Sound Quality:

The SOUNDPEATS H3 Utilizes a 12mm Dynamic Driver and 2 Balanced Armatures. The stock tuning is a V tuning with strong bass and a present and detailed treble, the mids aren’t too recessed and still manage to be present with good clarity. In terms of audio quality for TWS or Bluetooth wireless sets that I have tried the SOUNDPEATS H3 easily is at the top. With the app you have access to a 9 band EQ that works great and lets anyone fine tune their experience as well as some presets for certain genres you can try out.

Bass:

Bass is definitely something that hits hard here and it’s not boomy but actually pretty textured and detailed with good quantity. The bass is definitely the more engaging part of the stock tuning and although it doesn’t overpower anything it does hold your attention. The nice thing with the H3 that I don’t normally notice on most sets is that even at super low volumes the bass is still present and engaging.

Midrange:

The midrange is a little less in your face but instruments still have a good energy to them, they are not recessed by any means or drowned out by the bass. Guitars still have bite and violins still sound correct and are very present.

Vocals:

Vocals seem to take a level playing field with the rest of the band in most mixes, they aren’t standing in front or behind but placed more in the middle with everyone else. Vocals all sound clear and correct without any nasal issues that you sometimes get on bass heavy sets.

Treble:

Treble is well defined and with plenty of air, bass is still the strongest contender on this set but the treble is very present without any worry of sibilance, no splash on cymbals or certain words coming out with sibilance. There is a great amount of small details in the treble region that can be made out even on low volumes and I found that quite impressive with this set.

Technicalities & Technologies:

Technicalities are all great at the $130 price point. Imaging is good, soundstage is great, micro details are quite good. Nothing quite blowing me away in regards to these but all very competent at this price point.

As for the Technology that is packed into the SOUNDPEATS H3 it is pretty impressive to me. Many Bluetooth codecs are supports SBC / AAC / LDAC / aptX / aptX Adaptive / aptX Lossless are all part of it so mostly any device should be able to use this these days and even older ones should work great.

The EQ is one of the first software EQs that I find doesn’t destroy the audio quality or timbre, there is a lot of freedom with the 9 band EQ as well to fine tune to your liking.

The ANC actually really surprised me as I have had good experiences with it on other devices in the past but the level of noise cancellation on the SOUNDPEATS H3 really caught me off guard. I did a lot of my testing in the middle of a fair I was vending at. Our booth was right next to the main stage with musicians playing and next to them was the actual rides with tons of kids screaming and all the machinery going. We had to “camp” at the fair grounds and our spot to camp was actually within our booth so once I closed up for the night I had to set up our tent and go to bed next to the music and all the rides. I figured like most ANC I had tried in the past that I would still be able to hear it all just less so. But that was not the case, once I enabled the ANC I actually had to take the H3 out of my ears because everything went dead silent and I forgot how to breathe and thought I just went deaf or something. After calming down I put them back in and that is just how well the ANC works. It completely removed all of the noises around me and made it dead quiet. Truly an amazing experience and the best ANC I have ever tried.

Transparency mode was also great during the morning setups as I was able to hear around me and have conversations with other vendors. I appreciate being able to be aware of my surroundings when I need to be and these did a good job when I wanted them to do that.

Conclusion:

This was my first experience using a SOUNDPEATS product and I really am impressed with the overall sound quality and the technology that they put inside it. This is easily my favorite wireless in ear product that I have tried both in sound and ANC. For the $130 asking price this is a very easy recommendation from me and even if the tuning is not for you the EQ works really well to tailor it to your liking. The technology has come such a far way since the first TWS that I tried (Sennheiser CX Plus) the sound and tech in these put that old thing to shame.

Thanks for reading this review! Feel free to ask any questions if you have any. Also feel free to share your experience if you have been able to try the H3.
