Kefine has taken the spotlight with the likes of the Delci and Klanar the past year, but the Klean seems like it’ll break the market further with its $49 price tag and refined sound. Let’s talk about it!
The unboxing of the Klean is, well, clean. Nothing excessive or extravagant, but clean and mature with decent accessories. Nothing outside the norm of IEMs in this price range and for Kefine.
As for the build, I was told that Kefine used metal injection like the ones used in Simgot IEMs. This makes it a supremely premium looking and feeling IEM that unfortunately uses paint for its finish which means this might chip like the infamous Aria. Regardless, it’s an amazing looking and feeling IEM that also fits really well. I enjoyed wearing this for long listening periods on my chair, but stability can be improved as moving around can loosen the fit and seal. The cable is pretty basic and nothing special, but it’s effective and usable. I honestly wouldn’t replace it unless it broke.
But the thing that really makes the Klean stand out is its sound. The Delci was a fantastic IEM for the price, but suffered from a tough competition in the $79 region. However, the Klean is one that can comfortably compete with its $50 peers quite confidently. The way the tuned the Klean is similar to the Delci, but more refined and smoother especially in the treble region. This honestly makes it one of the best warm-leaning IEMs you can find in the sub $50 segment and probably my favorite budget warm IEM right now. This almost gives me HBB vibes with how its tuned, but it’s just so well done that I have to give it to Kefine for making such a mature warm-tuned IEM for an even lower price. It’s such an easy to listen to and recommend IEM that I cannot think of other IEMs with a warm tuning that can compete with the Klean in its tuning style.
