Build, Fit & Accessories:
The CK-D41 is priced at $180
it has a very nice looking shell that I like aesthetically, the almost lava looking faceplate looks beautiful in person and gives it a stand out appearance. Although I do find it to be comfortable they are pretty big and my partner was unable to fit them in a comfortable manner so do keep that in mind if you have smaller ears or know that you have issues with larger IEMs. These are standard 2 pin connectors if you are looking for alternative cables.
The unboxing experience is extremely nice and all of the inclusions are of very high quality. The cable is definitely up there as one of the nicest stock cables I have used. You receive SML tips in two different styles as well as a pair of red foams. There is a nice leather cord keeper utilized on the cable and a nice pleather zipper case that is soft lined…Although not the biggest grandest unboxing I must say that everything feels like it is higher quality than most other packages here. A full solid kit.

Sound Quality:
The CKLVX CK-D41 is a single dynamic driver and four balanced armature set. The DD is used for bass and 2 BAs for mids and 2 for highs. The way that they have this tuned is more akin to a neutral bass boost style and man does that bass pack a punch both in sub and mid bass. But overall is all sounds very correct with tons of micro details screaming out at you. For me, these are the best IEM I have heard and if you wanted to compare them with something on par I think you will be comparing them with sets in the $400+ range these are insane for the price.
Bass:
Bass is enveloping across the board, there is serious texture and detail here and that is surprising because of just how hard this set hits with bass quantity. This is the most engaging bass for me I have heard but it isn’t done poorly by any means, it flows into the mids perfectly and doesn’t overpower them honestly very surprising and I embrace it with open arms. kicks drums have a ginormous sound to them that are pretty in your face and are the most detailed I have heard so far.
Midrange:
Anti Shout set comes to mind as a description when I think about this set Lower mids are surprisingly rich and detailed coming off of the super hard hitting bass I never find it thin but definitely aren’t the main focus or extremely forwards by any means, same goes for the upper mids. They sit exactly where I want them to in the mix. Giving a nice sound across the board that never encroaches on too forwards. Guitar solos, wind instruments and violins all sound heavenly. Extremely well executed and detailed without being in your face.
Vocals:
Although Anti-shout I think vocals are coming across beautifully for my library male and female vocals of almost all ranges sound very nice and rich with great detail I never feel as though they are recessed nor steal the show by being overly forwards. Just sit in the mix quite well. I did notice that some higher pitched female vocals can come across a bit sharp in Sh and T sounds in music that generally isn’t a part of my library but it is something to make note of for those who listen to higher pitched female vocal oriented music.
Treble:
This was a pleasant surprise, yet another region that Is doing pretty much everything perfectly and hitting well above the price in detail and refinement, there is a ton of air here. Although I think this set might be a bit spicy for some folks here I don’t have any issues with sibilance or splashy cymbals or anything but I can tell it might be a bit too much for some at times. Some of my favorite older metal tracks that often sound pretty spicy up top and lack detail are actually very nicely detailed with these, cymbals have small details that I have not heard on any other IEM I have tried so far. Just an all around awesome experience here.
Technicalities:
The techs immediately caught me off guard. I was hit with the huge bass on my first track and I immediately thought it was going to all fall apart, but it remained extremely well defined and coherent with great clarity and not a hint of congestion or bleed form the bass. Tons of micro details I have not heard in IEMs before coming out into the light. These are extremely dynamic with huge stage and fantasticate imaging. I have heard what is described holographic stage in flatheads but never an IEM before, why are sounds swirling around me and coming from other rooms, downstairs and on the roof? Instruments also never seem to overpower each other and you can hear them all where they are supposed to be. This is the first set that has renewed my faith that an IEM can have incredible sound stage and the pin point imaging and layering with the music is intense and impressive to say the least. This set has techs that blow away everything else I have tried at this price point for IEMs.
Gaming Performance:
This was an interesting set to games on, although I really liked this for immersive games and FPS BUT due to the anti shout tuning there is an energy missing that I am used to in games, usually this would make me not really enjoy the games during my testing but due to the detailed bass and treble and the extremely precise imaging and nice stage I did find it enjoyable but it was a different experience. I didn’t feel like audio cues were being missed and anytime I did hear one it was extremely easy to pinpoint the location. Immersive gaming felt huge and hit hard. Although not my normal gaming experience I did find these enjoyable and may even get used to it if I continued using them. But I would not recommend them for a pure gaming set due to their size and different experience here.
FPS Gaming:
Escape From Tarkov was odd to start, there is a sharpness and push in the mids that was missing and as I started to run into fights and had to locate footsteps and sounds around me the CK-D41 did one of the best jobs at Imaging. These offered pinpoint imaging like no other set I have tried yet, an excellent job here. But it is a different experience due to the more relaxed mids and I don’t think in terms of tonality it will make the best fps gaming set I have tried overall. With that being said these do offer extremely nice bass and treble with an excellent stage that made the game feel super immersive even though sounding slightly off from what I am used to.
Immersive Gaming:
Elden Ring felt huge, these gave me a massive world to play in and felt extremely immersive and threw sounds all around me. This was a great experience and I feel more the strength of this set compared to FPS games. Truly a huge world with massive impacts and booming bass but still detailed and lots of information coming at you. Boss battle music mixed extremely well and remained separated in a great way. Overall I really enjoyed the presentation and way this set came across here.
Comparisons:
The main fight for these that I own would be the Gizaudio x Binary Acoustics Chopin. These are usually $180, Chopin is $199. Definitely comparable in price but how about what you get? Well, Chopin falls pretty short with the accessories with I think the only advantage is coming with the cleaning brush. The amount and quality of the ear tips, Cable and case are all a huge step above on the CK-D41. As for fit and comfort, I do find the Chopin to be more comfortable as it is less chonky compared to the CK-D41. But how about the sound? Well…of course it is going to be personal opinion but Chopin just falls short across the board for me here. It is lacking note weight and the extreme detail the CK-D41 provides as well as I enjoy the Grand Stage and bet imaging with the CK-D41. Honestly for me it’s not much of a competition, but that being said if you want a more vocal forward listen and leaner listen that gives an extreme amount of clarity the Chopin is still a great choice, but overall I feel as though the Chopin is just out classed by the CK-D41.
Conclusion:
I honestly am surprised such a small newer company has come out with a set like this at this price point. From my understanding Myer Audio has been making sets for other companies and has diverged off to make their own products…and I hope they get all the support they can get because if they can keep throwing out sets that obliterate the competition and still include top quality accessories like I find this one does It will be great for everyone in the community. This is the competition I have been wanted in this hobby, not similarly tuned sets at similar prices from different brands.
CK-D41 has absolutely blown me away with what can be done both with IEMs and at a price point I am already familiar with. I have expected to reach much higher price brackets in order to hit micro details and techs like this like this. These are just such a full package both in accessory and sound. I am so satisfied with these I might grab another pair and get them to customize it for me as that is something they can do…An incredible set for a reasonable price. This is a very easy recommendation from me, the only things to watch for are if you can’t fit larger IEMs or are extremely prone so sibilance. Other than that I would say anyone looking for a set in this price range should get a pair.
