Tripowin x HBB Kailua Impressions: THE BAD BOY’S GOOD LUCK?
All in all, this is undoubtedly one of my favorite sets to come out of the HBB-tuned family. Such a rich listening experience that those warm-heads or people who follow HBB closely will surely love. I’d even argue this is his best-tuned budget set, although I’m definitely in the minority for that due to my slight bias toward this style of bass tuning. It’s not perfect, however, all thanks to that awful cable and tips, but it’s close. Very close.
KZ Krila Impressions: IS THIS THE KILOBUCK KILLA??
Come with me as I take a look at the KZ Krila, KZ’s “kilobuck killer” IEM priced at an insane bargain of $18. Marketing aside, this is another tunable IEM…
MOONDROP Chu 2 Impressions: CHU CHU HYPE TRAIN PART 2?
"I was so tempted to put everything in this impression as I genuinely think there is a lot to talk about the Chu 2 in terms of the legacy that the OG Chu left and whether the former can live up to the latter. However, these two IEMs are fundamentally different from each other in terms of its tuning philosophy that ends up seeming like a different flavor more than an upgrade. Nonetheless, it's a good $20 set for those looking for a fun sound!"
Hidizs MS5 Impressions: THE DARK ANGEL ARRIVES!
The MS5 is certainly an interesting IEM from its looks and its sound. It’s nice to see some brands expand on different sound signatures as it provides a wildly different experience from the majority of the market that follows essentially the same tuning. However, further refinement is certainly needed with the MS5 as it admittedly still sounds (and fits) rough around the edges. But this is definitely a different experience that, if you can, should definitely try
Simgot EA2000 Impressions: RADIATING FUN!
An odd set top to bottom, the EA2000 was an absolute delight for my treblehead ears. I loved how sparkly this set was, although I do admit it’s a bit of a niche for those who are specifically looking for a treble-centric set. But with how magnificent the unboxing is along with the interesting inclusions of a passive radiator and tuning plugs, the EA2000 makes itself out to be a unique set from looks to sound.
LETSHUOER DZ4 Review: Lean Into The Zippy Vocals!
The Letshuoer DZ4 provides a lean, vocal-centric presentation with really good vocal nuance along with a solid unboxing experience and great accessories for the price. However, the 3 dynamic drivers and passive radiators seem to not do much to give body and weight into the music, as well as the somewhat poor fitting make it a little cumbersome to wear. Regardless, the DZ4 is an competent set for vocal lovers and neutral-heads on a budget
