Now let me preface this by saying that the Aegis is what I’d call an “anti-meta” IEM with how it completely goes against the modern “meta trends” of following a flatter, more linear sound presentation. So if you’re expecting this to be that, it’s not.
But if you’re looking for something warm but tactile and well-defined, especially in the bass region, I haven’t heard a set under $500 that does it as well as the Aegis. It’s one of the most fun sounding Warm V-Shaped sounding IEMs I’ve heard with just how unique it presents the overall soundscape. It’s such a physical and immersive listening experience that I genuinely encourage people to try out.
I only briefly tried the Aegis, but once I get the opportunity to try this more, I’ll be sharing more impressions with this unique set.
